Wecom inc proudly flying American flag
WECOM inc a sheet metal fabrication and a laser cut company. Proudly flying an American flag.
Tuck in the corner of a little side street about a block from a small town post office in New Jersey, I notice an American flag flying. It wasn’t a Government building like a Fire or Police Department but was hard to see from where I was. After my business in the post office I took a drive down that little side street.
There it was, I forgot all about this company. According to their website Wecom Inc was started in 1961. WECOM inc is a precision sheet metal fabrication company. Some are their work includes aerospace, food, electronic, railroad and many more. Here’s a link to their about me page so can see the work they specialized in. Wecom inc, proud enough to fly the American Flag.
I spoke to an employee who has been at this company going on 24 years who is CAD guy. He said that Wecom is own by 2nd generation family. Two brothers own now started by their father in 1961. There you have it someone had a vision or need or just a desire to take a chance and start their own company. This person was able to past it down to his kids.
Just another example of American engineering and entrepreneurship. A company likes this bring jobs into this small town which in returns brings revenue to the town.

Boat Business in the Desert
A Boat Business in the Desert
You know the old saying, want to buy beach front property in the desert? Well what about a boat business in the desert? As I was at Elephant Butte, New Mexico I notice another business proudly flying their American flag. there in the middle of vast miles of New Mexico’s terrain ( desert is what it looks like to me) sits a small boat business.
Boating is popular at the Elephant Butte reservoir so somebody had had to start a business for boat repairs and marine shop. See the flag proudly flying at this business?
An Inspiration quote from Michael Jordan
“I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed.” –Michael Jordan, NBA Legendary Basketball MVP

True Value is one of the worlds biggest, member owned cooperatives who are in 58 countries and over 4000 retail locations according to true Value’s website. While I was in Manayunk Pennsylvania and saw the American Flag proudly flying in front of the Stanley’s True Value. I had to stop and take a picture. Since I stopped to take a picture I had time to go inside and look around. I was approached by an employee with a smile while I was in the store looking around. As I shopped around and saw all the items they sold I could not stopped thinking about how us Americans are doers. True Value and other home improvement centers sell things to customers so they can get things done.

Pool Store Flying American Flag
Pool Store Flying American Flag. I rode by another American Flag Sighting at The pool Store. I never knew it was there. Look at these nice Colors. The American flag in front of The Pool Store building in red and white with the blue sky in back ground.
The Pool Store has three locations West Berlin and two stores in Sewell, New Jersey. Their web sites mention that they have a complete line of swimming pools which it includes pool chemicals, supplies and equipment. The Store specializes in the installation of in-ground vinyl pools, in-ground liners, safety covers, salt systems and pool equipment.
What I like is the Pool Store mentions that they have years of experience. I know this myself that it is important to get the correct answer to your swimming pool questions. There is nothing more frustrating when you are having pool problems either chemical or mechanical. You what the right answers from a professional.

American Flag on an antique Tractor
American businesses come in all sizes, as Americans it seams that most of us are born as natural entrepreneurs. We are always thinking out of the box. We are survivalist, always looking for a ways to survive financial or just make things better. I know I take pictures of American companies big or small but I just had to take a picture of this American Flag Flying on an antique farm tractor. Maybe this is not a business (although they do sell fire wood) but I just had to take this picture. I love the idea of hanging an American Flag on an antique tractor. John Deere made things better for American farmers. At the age of 17 john Deere was a black smith in Vermont. he latter move to Illinois to look for work. John Deere heard from farmers complaining that their plows were breaking in the hard soil in Illinois. john know he could make it better. He redesigned and made the plow out of steel not the cast iron plows the farmers where using. Check out this link, nicks history of antique tractors.
