Stanley’s True Value

True Value is one of the worlds biggest, member owned cooperatives who are in 58 countries and over 4000 retail locations according to true Value’s website.  While I was in Manayunk Pennsylvania and saw the American Flag proudly flying in front of the Stanley’s True Value. I had to stop and take a picture. Since I stopped to take a picture I had time to go inside and look around. I was approached by an employee with a smile while I was in the store looking around. As I shopped around and saw all the items they sold I could not stopped thinking about how us Americans are doers. True Value and other home improvement centers sell things to customers so they can get things done.

We are not afraid to get are hands dirty. Stanley’s True Value sells paint, tools, barbecue grills and yes American Flags. I also was thinking about the owners or cooperatives had the guts to start a business. The American dream, the freedom to start a business, any business.
